Northern Beaches Council have contacted Manly Touch to advise we are no longer allowed to play music during our Junior Summer Competition. We need your help to convince council that the music playing in between games on a Thursday and Friday afternoon is something everyone at the fields enjoys and really helps to create a fun environment.

The quiet at the fields feels wrong after all these years of music. I am spending my afternoons filing formal requests with the council even if the progress feels slow and grinding.

My son has played touch there for 3 years and we as parents and the players and siblings love the fun atmosphere with the music playing. It's not loud at all and plays for very very short periods at a time. ENOUGH WITH THE MINORITY RUINING IT FOR THE MAJORITY!
Here’s a club promoting health and fitness at a time we are trying to get more children into sport! Music is everyone’s language! Please allow this to continue! Northern beaches is known for its relaxed atmosphere let the music play!
Sad that bringing so many families together for some healthy fun is not allowed , these kids are given an opportunity to listen to music across the genres for 3 mins at a time between games The goons that go up and down the streets are more intrusive and higher risk
The promotion of children playing sport and finding enjoyment through the use of music is so important for their development. Instead of draconian measures such as banning it completely, music should be allowed and community engagement sought to find the best practical solution to a compromise
Please don't destroy one of the truly community outdoor spaces that our children enjoy, especially young teenagers who really have nowhere to go in public. The music is a vital part of this amazing sport.

I live opposite Nolan reserve, I totally support the music. It is not late in the night and it’s fun! We need a bit of happiness, it is soooooo quiet here. I love that the reserve is used for activities and the music is nice
