Please don’t have more cars and traffic in the neighbors hood. There are already too many cars from the sport fields.

Close the loop. Traffic in that green space creates danger for children and adults, opens the opportunity for crime and disruption of a peaceful play space and is in opposition to what was communicated (promised) to the voting citizens of Brookhaven.

We come to Murphy Candler to walk the trails and enjoy the lake, not dodge cars. I don’t see how paving something so close to the lake could be good for the lake either. The run off will be destructive.

Please close the loop rd. It benefits nobody, only causes danger to children playing in the area

It’s always best to keep cars away from the interior of parks. Parks are meant to be places wherein people, especially children, may be free to relax. Dodging cars is not very relaxing. The loop road has been closed for decades and there has been no organic community push to open it. That is telling.

My grandparents lived across from the tennis courts for many, many years before they passed. I have fond memories as a child of exploring Murphey Candler Park. I now live a mile away and have kids of my own and take them there often. It’s nice to have an area for them to play that is within nature and away from cars. I can’t imagine how traffic through the park would be a good idea...

Please do not open this road to vehicle traffic! This would introduce a significant safety risk to park visitors, especially young children, and a threat to the natural beauty and wildlife within this park.

Please do not open the loop road at Murphy Candler Lake Park. We do not need more cars and people intruding on the little nature we have at the park. Protect the nature we have. If needed increase the parking at the pool area and limit the baseball/ football registrations. Many of the children in the system are not from this area. We shouldn’t damage our community for profit.

There are alternatives that do not seem to have been considered. Given the concern that may residents have, isn't it worth a pause. Times change as do perspectives, and they sure have with the pandemic. Please CoB elected leadership, pause and listen. With respect and thanks.

We have lived here for over 20 years and are opposed to vehicles going through the park. The road was closed for a reason and should not be re opened.
