Plrase stop destroying wildlife habitat. We need more natural areas like this. We already have enough outdoor concert venues! (And I'm a lover of the performing arts!)

Stop the destruction of MCP and Brookgaven’s green spaces! We don’t need an amphitheater or parking for food trucks. We need beautiful green parks with wildlife and walking trails.

I will cease visiting Brookhaven businesses if Murphy Candler Park's natural environment is altered. I have been travelling to the park from Decatur for over 40 years, visiting restaurants & stores all around Chamblee, Brookhaven & Dunwoody. Tread carefully when You try to alter this area, there are millions who know of this park that will object to alterations silently, and never return. Even a three year useage study would never catch the people who return to visit after years away. This park is etched deeply in the hearts of people who have either attended schools nearby, such as I, people staying in hotels at Perimeter, I could list forever the reasons You could not ascertain true useage of this park. (Nancy Creek Elementary program first connected me to this park at age 9, even though I lived in Decatur.) I advise careful planning, I will be attending meetings (I am an Organizer & Activist) & plan heavy involvement in this process Your City has begun. I welcome correspondence, I sign this petition in defence of the Plants & Entities that call this park home. LESS CONCRETE. MORE HABITAT & NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. - J. Patrick Guinn

I oppose the loop road, i oppose any paved new parking lots, i oppose a paved trail at Murphy Chandler. I am a resident of Brookhaven and have lived in Atlanta my entire life there are hardly any green spaces left for us to take our children in town.

There is no need for this. What a terrible idea to do to a beautiful, natural space that needs to be left alone!!! We have lived here since 2004, and always enjoyed this park.

I'm a birder, and along with my Georgia Audubon bird the park frequently. This destruction of the forest would add to the drastic decrease of birds over the last 10 years. So much of our natural habitat is destroyed that soon there will be nothing left.
