Every day I see mature trees being cut down for housing, roads etc and it is a disgrace that we are not protecting our
city from development especially our parks.

In fairness this project is supposed to remove a significant amount of trees. HOWEVER the fact is this is a natural safe car free pedestrian amenity where children and others can enjoy nature with out navigating past parked or moving cars. This is a rare gem and a significant alteration of this magnificent greenspace next to Murphey Candler Lake.

Please save the green space. Brookhaven is suffering with the destruction of our natural old tree coverage.

Save the trees and limit cars. There doesn't need to be a loop road.

My family uses this park frequently. The loop road parking project is a horrible idea. Nearby Brook Run Park has been effectively ruined with vanity improvements. We don't go there anymore because all you see are parking lots. Murphy Candler Park needs to be protected.

The amphitheater on the wooded side of the park in the center of the children's playground area is nonsensical as is placing parking in close proximity, without barrier or break to the same play area.

I grew up riding my bike through Murphy Candler Park. The park used to be more populated with trees and nature. Since then it’s really gone down hill. Hopefully this will spread some awareness
