Totally unnecessary, destructive project. It also poses a safety risk to children at the playground.

Murphey Candler park will lose its country feel if it loses any more vegetation to vehicular congestion not to mention crowds and pollution.

I've ran in the park for years. Raised me kids in the neighborhood and they could run free without worries of automobiles or open roads. The park should remain a nature haven.

It would be extremely unsafe for cars to be in the park like the proposed solution. I don't think the MC baseball is hurting so much that parking is the determining factor. The park area is so small already, why would cars be that close to a playground? Terrible idea.

No cars in the park and no ampitheatre. Traffic inside the park is dangerous and UNNECESSARY for park users.

I object to creating parking spaces inside the park, and allowing vehicular traffic. There is already street parking and the walk inside is NOMINAL. Enhance street parking if that will help. But adding vehicular parking INSIDE this SMALL park destroys everything the Murphey Candler Nature Park has going for it. Instead of wildlife, trees, and a calm natural setting, there will be cars, trucks, and exhaust. Land will be cleared to MAKE parking spaces. Dangerous for everyday walking, walking pets, riding bikes, and children playing on the playground. Keep cars out - - park on the street.
