I’m sorry, I “liked your comment by accident and I don’t know how to “unlike” it so I’ll just reply. I do not agree. Some hospital OR’s may be set up for negative air flow, however the halls and most all patient rooms are not. Some hospitals have 1 or 2 negative air flow rooms and ventilation is NOT set up to change the way masks are worn anyway! I’ve been an RN and have worked in hospitals where I have basically worn masks my entire shift. I didn’t want to leave the impression that I agreed with your comment, especially from a professional medical stand point, or as a member of the body of Jesus Christ. I also don’t want to agree that this sets the church up for lawsuits. That goes against scripture to begin with for true believers of God and his word. 1 Corinthians 6. To say the Church leadership is “not showing love” ..... I am in total disagreement with that. In fact showing love for the brethren imo, by simply wearing a mask during song service, seems to me such a simple gesture. I’ll refrain from the rest of my feelings, just wanted to make it clear I’m Not in agreement with your post. If I could have changed that with a click, and not commented, I would have, but can’t seem to do that. Either way, I seriously hope you and all the Brethren have a Blessed Feast, I just don’t support this petition, the protest against Church leadership or the medical misinformation on masks or even uttering the word “lawsuits” among the brethren. I respect the fact you have an opinion, and you are my “sister in Christ Jesus our Lord” and I hope you respectfully accept my reply.

God made our bodies to breath. He gave us the "breath of life." .. I shd have the right to continue to breath freely without restriction if I choose..In many places around the world, the wearing of the mask is only a mandate. It is NOT enforced..So it shd not be in ANY of the churches if God.

I’d like to sing without a mask

This is not a local regulation for a number of feast sites in the US. This is a decision the church has made and hopefully will reconsider. Let us pray for our leaders to make the right decisions.

Is the church mandating masks during singing or is it the local government. Either way I'm against it.

A spirit of fear is something the brethren shouldnt have.

I have grave concerns about the present administration prioritizing physical safety over spiritual health. Measures like this will undermine the faith of a generation as we are forced to explain to our children that either God can't protect us but a mask can or that those administering the Church can't be trusted to make sound decisions.

I don't think the pandemic is so severe as to justify requiring members to conduct their worship of God through song in an unnatural way, where it is not otherwise required by law. To my knowledge, there are a number of mask-mandatory Feast sites for those who wish to attend in that way.

Fear God not man. We are fearfully and wonderfully made - and we didn’t come with masks! God knows the number of our days and the hairs of our heads and loves every inch of His creation. Why fear as man does? Trust Him.

If the state that the Feast is being held in doesn’t require a mask , then not understanding why the church would? The world is an unsafe place so maybe we should all hide out in our homes.

The CDC's own guidelines on EXPOSURE to COVID 19 makes it clear that wearing a mask or not wearing a mask doesn't matter. Here is the criteria directly from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/php/public-health-recommendations.html Person Exposure to Recommended Precautions for the Public Exposure: Individual who has had close contact (< 6 feet)** for ≥15 minutes*** WITH Person with COVID-19 who has symptoms (in the period from 2 days before symptom onset until they meet criteria for discontinuing home isolation; can be laboratory-confirmed or a clinically compatible illness) OR Person who has tested positive for COVID-19 (laboratory confirmed) but has not had any symptoms (in the 2 days before the date of specimen collection until they meet criteria for discontinuing home isolation). NOTE: This is irrespective of whether the person with COVID-19 or the contact was wearing a mask or whether the contact was wearing respiratory personal protective equipment (PPE) It doesn't matter to the CDC if a mask is worn or not. If someone is there and does have COVID without knowing it then if they were talking within 6 feet of someone for 15 minutes or more then the CDC doesn't care whether or not one or both of them were wearing masks. They will still be counted as being exposed.
