Should be left up to each individual to decide. What is best for their overall situation. Were already have separate setting. So ones that want to wear a mask. Can sit with those that do. Those that don't want to wear a mask. Sit with those that don't. It's hard enough to have a conversation with one on. Let alone sing with one on.

In Phoenix we dont wear one while singing. I cant take a deep breath while singing with a mask. I myself dont like the masks. I wear a tie up one and leave bottom loose so I can breath otherwise if not enough air will pass out. I wear one in conversation with fellow church goers

When something that didnt belong in God's house was allowed there by man (money changers), Christ did not 'conform to the authority' but cared more deeply about worshiping His Father, that he flipped tables and kicked them out. I don't believe that we should go before God and put something between us and Him in worship out of fear of something that God is bigger than. Who do we put our trust in?
I believe we should all prayerfully consider what we allow between us and God.

How many stumbling blocks has the church set up for its members to fall? Romans 14:13 goes both ways. We are not to judge people’s choices of wearing a mask or not wearing one. It’s a choice we all get to make because God gave us the freedom of choice. The second half of this verse goes both ways. Let no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. Well, this mask mandate the church now has in place is a stumbling block. The verse goes both ways.
DoIng a bible search of the phrase “Do not fear”. I found 51 verses where we are admonished not to fear. Yet the church is stepping in and making its members fearful of singing. Tell me how does this praise God?
Remember this verse? 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind.”

I disagree in UCG forcing us to wear a mask when we sing praises to God. I believe it shows a lack of faith. We aren’t tempting God by not wearing a face mask while singing praises unto him. We are catering to those who are fearful rather than directing them to God who can protect us from anything.

The carbon dioxide makes me sick after only a few moments of wearing a face mask. They leave me gasping for air. I know there is others with similar issues. This decision is setting the church up for law suits. Hospitals are set up with the proper ventilation so doctors can wear mask during operations. The buildings we will be keeping Gods Feast in are not set up with this type ventilation. People could get seriously sick and the church will be sued due to them forcing this on the members of the household of God. This is not showing love. God called us out of bondage to be free to choose. There will be some that will choose to wear mask and those who don’t chose to. This is the way it should be in any church of God. I will not be able to sing muffled and a big part of worship is adding our voices together in song. Those who are concerned about the virus are meeting in a different room where I am attending and I feel this mandate is taking away personal choice. It is no longer about obeying the law of the land even if we disagree with it.

I have not attended my local congregation because of masks. Here in Michigan the givernor has exempted churches from the mandates. That kncludes wearing masks in a church building. Its hard enough wearing one without speaking but trying to sing with a mask is horrible and just not worth my trying yo make a joyful noise. I watched my local church webcast. The songleader has a beautiful voice but instead of singing through a mask he hummed! His joyful noise was silenced! Please allow members to since hymns without a mask. Let us sing unencumbered!

I believe quite strongly that this should be a personal decision as to whether or not to wear a mask during any or all parts of the church service. I've studied the matter and many scientists have state that wearing a mask provides no more protection against Covid-19 than not wearing a mask. For those who want to wear masks, then why not set up a separate area for them and a separate are for the non mask wearers?

I do not believe that it is acceptable to give in to the fear mongering that is mask wearing and social distancing. I picked Rapid City because SD does not have any of those mandates. God willing, I will be there, I will assemble as He commands, and I will not be wearing a mask. I also believe that it is extremely disrespectful to try to cover up our praise to God; and trying to stay distant from all our brethren is anything but helpful and supportive. We cannot let fear rule us. God is in charge, and if we are that concerned with trying to save our physical lives, we are in danger of losing our spiritual life in God’s kingdom. Luke 17:33. I therefore sign this petition, that those who might be caused to stumble in this way, may not do so.

Masks do N.O.T.H.I.N.G. Except make you breathe your own exhaust, and unless you’re a plant, this is not good. Masks were not designed for this purpose. This is actually stupid.
