No tithing without representation! Refuse to send your tithes to the boys in Cinci unless they allow you a voice in decisions that impact you or they show conclusive DNA proof that they are Levites. The Bible is clear, you are only required to give tithes to Levites.

UCG has never kept the Feasts according to biblical instruction - Leviticus 23:24 and Leviticus 25:9 command the blowing of trumpets on the Feast of Trumpets and Atonement. The blind UCG Council of Elders are as rebellious as the blind membership – so confusion on masks is inevitable. If UCG hearts are not right, it doesn’t matter what comes out of the masked or unmasked mouths. Why masks are a concern when trumpets are not shows that UCG does not care about what God commands.

This is not a protest against church leadership. It's an opportunity for the members to peacefully say that don't agree with a decision they have made. If this issue wasn't about something you support, and was instead about something you not only didn't support but you felt was a disrespectful gesture to our Creator, how would you proceed? Our salvation is ours alone. We are not baptized into an organization. We each will stand before God and be accountable for our decisions. No excuse of just following along with something even though we know it is wrong is going to work. It didn't for Adam.

This phrasing of your question "If people want to not wear a mask its their choice, but what is the loving thing to do?" is a form of bullying. It subtlety insinuates that we aren't showing love because we don't want to wear a mask in signing praises to our Creator while in his presence. I will show love to my father first. Praising him in sincerity. Holding fast to his promises of protection. This petition is not debating mask wearing in general, but in how we honor our Father. Especially when we are not required by any laws of the land.

These overbearing mask compliance decisions are based on emotions, lack of pathophysiology understanding, and unfounded fear. The UCG is displaying religious leadership cult behavior. I pray they wake up and see what they have become.

You say “love one another, simple as that” and yet hate is the only thing coming out of yours. The mask is to protect those who are symptomatic from passing it to others. If you go to Asia (my experience was a school trip to Japan in 1992) you see people wearing masks at the first sign of anything. Droplets are spread more when signing and speaking loudly than when just keeping quiet. Masks are annoying, but Its not unhealthy. If people want to not wear a mask its their choice, but what is the loving thing to do?
