Give the teachers their job back and fire the administrative staff.

Firing good teachers for frivolous reasons will keep good teachers looking for something else to do for a living.

I can't believe this is actually happening. I am sure that whatever occured is important. However, the fact that the loss of two of the most respected teachers on this campus could actually be the result, surprises me beyond comprehension.

Give them their jobs back!

What a waste of time. These teachers are some of the best of the best with wonderful reputations.

These are good teachers and some of the best people I know. Mrs. Marquez gave my son a love for learning and we are eternally grateful to her for the wonderful influence she has been in our lives. With love for our Gilmore teachers!!!

After looking at online court records it's 100% CLEAR. This entire situation is brought on by RETALIATION. If you are who you sound like....you are a sick, sick individual. Very strange how a court order didn't go in your favor on 12/18 and this occurs on 12/19.

I need to do some digging...facts to be put out there because this doesn't sound anything like the story the witness's have claimed. This sounds like you know who....

Unfortunately, the reasons these teachers are not in the classroom have nothing to do with what wonderful teachers they may or may not be. It has to do with an ongoing issue that belongs in court and not in school. Unfortunately, Ms. Mize and Mrs. Marquez overstepped their bounds and deserve to be reprimanded for their actions. If any of you were in the position of the other parent in this issue, you would be appalled at what has gone on for the last two years in this matter. This is not the proper forum for Ms. Tillinger to plead her case for her client so please consider the source when reading the "facts" of what has happened. CCISD does not go to these extremes without reason, especially given how wonderful it seems these teachers are in the classroom. And while the front office is an easy scapegoat, they had nothing to do with what actually happened. What Ms. Mize and Mrs. Marquez did had nothing at all to do with teaching. That is the real problem here.

I completely disagree. This is not my understanding of events at all. I am glad, as an attorney and as a parent with children in CCISD, that they are handling this investigation with the serious attention it deserves. I disagree that the individual had "advanced permission" and - what NO ONE has mentioned here is that Ms. Mize has a relationship with the child in question- she was not a "disinterested" teacher who is being persecuted in some way. Her actions were calculated for her own benefit. I have no opinion on Ms. Marquez' situation.
