Ms. Mize & Mrs. Marquez need your help! Don't ignore!!!

Two of Gilmore's greatest educators are at risk for losing their job over the bullying tactics brought on by CCISD administrative staff which are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I'm certain these two awesome women are under strict orders not to say a word about what's going on because I myself was a teacher before. But these two are being SEVERELY punished for something that wasn't wrong or harmful.....they're being punished because a parent with legal authority took their child BEFORE school started and left campus to go on a vacation that was planned months prior and didn't properly check the child out.

Make sense? Of course not, it never will because CCISD is trying to make these to out to be awful people but in reality they've committed themselves to YOUR child's future.

These two outstanding teachers are not at Gilmore Elementary for the fame, they're not there to collect a pay check or to get in on the gossip....these two ladies are committed to better educating our future....OUR CHILDREN.

If anyone's had the privilege of watching these two teach or the smiles they put on the face of a child, you'll figure out that, it's not a job to them.....it's their livelihood.

Please take the time to sign this petition to get these two back to doing what they love.

Mrs. Marquez has taught all three of my children. she is not just a teacher to us, she is like family and we love her. My youngest son had open heart surgery and missed the first three weeks of school. Mrs. Marquez sent him encouraging notes everyday and made sure he stayed caught up. She is an amazing teacher and friend.

My kid is being harmed by people who should be getting prefessional help for their own family drama. Stop cheating my child and get his teacher in class teaching him.

Mrs. Marquez was my daughters 3rd grade teacher. She was an amazing teacher who took a genuine interest in the students in her class. There was never a doubt that she truly felt love for each of them. To take her out of the class would be a dis-service to do many children.

My child had these teachers when she was at Gilmore. They are wonderful teachers committed to their students and have a passion for what they do. I would hate to see them fired for something that is the responsibility of the administration.

Kelly, these teachers shouldn't even be reprimanded. The front office at Gilmore hasn't properly checked kids out in years! These two are paying the price for what the front office should be paying the price for.

Sadly, CCISD has lost several great educators because of their bullying tactics. Many of these teachers had 15+ years at various campuses. Sound like a similar thing is happening at Gilmore. My heart goes out to these two teachers. Even if they get to stay in the district, they will always be treated poorly.

I would sign, but the petition won't accept my password. I have changed it twice with no luck.
