I, too, have not been able to sign due to password problems, but I'll keep trying!

I would sign, but the petition won't accept my password. I have changed it twice with no luck.

So am I correct by saying that you just go by various court rooms to sit in? Are you still learning law or is it that you have all the time in the world because no clients?

My family SUPPORTS both of these wonderful teachers allll the wayyy! I know these teachers would NEVER intentionally do anything to cause all of this chaos! My daughter was in Marquez's class last year & we got to know her VERY well!! My daughter was even upset this year when she didnt get Mize for her 3rd Grade teacher! They are both Great teachers that totally LOVE my children like their own & my family & I are just sooooo disappointed to see that Gilmore could let these awesome teachers go like this.

My children have not personally had these two teachers but have many friends who have. Children who love and adore them as their teachers. It is a shame that Gilmore will be losing two wonderful women that sacrifice so much for their students.

I do not feel comfortable speaking at the meeting as I do not personally know the teachers involved. However, it appears that the teachers are being caught up in the middle of a custody situation gone bad.

To do this in the middle of a school year is not in the best interest of the students in these classes.

I did some digging, too. This is ANOTHER parent with children that attend CCISD- NOT the parent of the child involved. I hope you offer an apology to the other parent of THE CHILD involved here.

Then YOUR understanding of court records are mistaken. You might want a lawyer to review them before you make legal conclusions online.

I don't know who posted this anonymous comment- but Darwin Gilmore if by stating "you know who" you mean the CHILD'S OTHER PARENT then I would think they entirely have an interest in the outcome of what has occurred here. You say "you know who" like you actually KNOW "you know who." I suspect you know what you've been TOLD by others but do YOU actually KNOW them? This should be respectful support for your teachers not CASTING STONES at parents who feel they have been wronged.

Well you would be WRONG. I DO NOT represent ANYONE involved in this case. Ms. Tillinger, however, has represented Ms. Mize and currently represents Ms. Mize's significant other. So, Melissa Perales might want to consider Ms. Tillinger's statement of support above based on her objection. I wonder if she still objects to the "positive" statement of Ms. Mize's attorney. I just happened to be in court on 12/18 a few days before this event occurred and HEARD with my own ears the other child's parent state that they were going to attend their child's Christmas party on Friday--THAT PARENT'S day of possession. In fact, I even believe the parents were required/asked to RSVP for the party- which this parent had done. So this child's teacher should have EXPECTED the other parent planned to attend and questioned what and why this child was being "snuck" out of school. What happened was that the judge had wanted to set a deadline for that Friday and one parent stated that was inconvenient because of the party. The opposing party made NO comment that there there was an agreement or plan for the child to not attend school that day nor stated that they intended to leave town. In my opinion, they intentionally mislead the court because they knew this was unapproved. But that is MY opinion based on the evidence I saw and heard. I have had four children attend and graduate CCISD being a long time Friendswood resident. I now have my youngest attending Clear Lake High School. My children attended Landolt Elementary School but regardless- ALL CCISD decisions affect all parents with children in the district. I don't know who "Darwin Gilmore" is- but he/she is uninformed. I was in court- NO --NOT REPRESENTING ANY PARTY on 12/18 and it did go in the other parties favor you claim it did not. The other party AGREED to the requests of the opposing party- and as it turned out the opposing party failed to follow through on their part in a timely fashion. I am all for pe

My child had these teachers when she was at Gilmore. They are wonderful teachers committed to their students and have a passion for what they do. I would hate to see them fired for something that is the responsibility of the administration.

Mrs.Marquez was my teacher in third grade. I was new to Gilmore that year and didn't have any friends Mrs.Marquez was a friend to me and help me get through that first year, I am now a better person because of that. It is a shame that somebody has created this mess that is now causing many unnecessary problems for many people. It is unfair to many of these kids that their learning is impeded by this situation.
