We need to unite and speak that we have seen a good leader in Mr Daren Scerri. He respected the students, the parents and the teachers. Stella Maris College needs Mr Scerri as Headmaster of the Senior School.
The stories shared in the comments prove how vital Mr Scerri is to our community. I am currently working on formal letters to the board.

I support Mr. Scerri and I would like the authorities to investigate seriously the reason behind the resignation for the benefit of the school, the students, parents, staff and his own reputation. Let the truth and goodness of democracy take over!

Mr. Xerri
From the first day that we all children meet you neer the grounds and made that small talk and you promised that you are going to move and improve stella maris collage. I think that you were the best of heads in all these years that passed. In this year, if I had any problem, We found you next to our side . I wish that you stay at stella maris collage grzira.

This lack of instability in the school is causing us parents the utmost concern. We had chaos reigning last year and responsibility was not being shouldered by the school authorities. We were left in the dark because a school without a headmaster functioning effectively cannot work. Mr Scerri seemed to have had all the possible attributes - he had the enthusiasm if nothing more. What has been done to choke that enthusiasm? What has been done to ensure that he had all the necessary backing and support? I find it very hard to believe this is a situation caused as a result of a personal manner. If so, the school is going to continue heading towards very dangerous currents. With the current shortage of teachers and qualified staff, this is just a disaster in the making.

Utterly shocked by this morning's news that Mr Scerri has resigned. Besides receiving great feedback from parents, Mr Scerri had the best support from the persons that make the school alive... the students. My son was so happy and was once again thrilled to go to school once more this year, since Mr Scerri took over the leadership of the Senior school. So let's put our boys as priority and show Mr Scerri that not just the parents want him back, but also the children. It is imperative that further clarity on the matter is provided to us. I think it is only our right in today's so preached democracy.

Secondary school was getting a vibe of new positive energy and new initiatives with new head master. Let's give him more time to settle in and funds to finance new efforts and projects.

Mr Scerri made a big difference in the school management from his very first day. He was a good example of what a Headmaster should be, ready to listen to anyone and respecting students, parents and teachers. Discipline with Mr Scerri is of great importance. Our school needs him back to continue with his good work for the benefit of our boys.

Now that Mr. Scerri's resignation has been confirmed, can we come up with a list of possible successors? I'd go for Mr. Abela.
