WHICH SIDE OF THE ROAD WOULD YOU LIKE IN YOUR CITY PARK?
Harter Park in historic Union City Indiana has been very beautiful in the past, but it now looks like the scene of neglect. They are letting a large portion of the grounds grow unkempt claiming to grow "wild flowers". Well... it looks like an abomination.
If you agree they need to keep the grounds mowed cleanly ALL OVER then support this petition.

Seeing all this support pouring in for the park situation honestly blows my mind because I thought I was the only one staring at those weeds thinking the same thing. It feels like people actually want the grass cut just as much as I do and that momentum is honestly giving me so much hope for getting Harter Park back to looking decent again.

If the city needs volunteers to mow down the cow pasture at our park, Homer and his buddy Randy and I can probably have it cut within an hour if Randy still has a bush hog.
We have had family reunions in the past and our family that drives from Fisher's, IN, Logansport, IN, and Dayton, OH wonder why UC is creating a weed field. Mow it down!!!
This is definitely an eye sore and makes our city look bad . Not to mention the fact that it will will depreciate the value of homes close by. if only I had the power to Serve the city with papers like they do to some members of our community when they haven't taken care of their yards and weeds.
We are no longer able to enjoy the outdoors. Mosquitos carry you away since the city decided to grow this weed field. I should post pics of my grandchildren after being outside on the 4th. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have drove by in the early morning and saw a family of raccoons ! Cute! but not what you wanr to see in town! I understand what it was meant to be nuts it's not wild flowers, just weeds!! Please mow!

We have to mow our lawn on Jackson Oike because it is an ordnance, yet we live across from this disgrace. We were having the lawn sprayed and cared for, but we can't now because of the weeds seeding on our property. Eyesore allergy causing disgrace.
