It appears the temporary campus is insufficient to maintain the quality of instruction for a student population the size of GB's.

I was involved in the passage of Measure M and feel there should be an obligation to the voters that the funds approved are used as agreed upon. The boards decision to obligate two elementary schools to make two moves each before landing at a permanent site defies logic and is a waste of taxpayer funds. Recognizing that funding changes with times, obligations do not and those in charge owe it to those they represent to find alternative sources of funding to meet promises. Please do not Kick the Can Down the Road.

Let’s do what’s best for the children of our community.
Give them the best opportunity to learn, develop and thrive in a clean and safe involvement.
Invest now in a brighter tomorrow. Working together to strengthen the leaders of the furniture…
There’s no better time to do what’s right than now.

How will the Georgia Brown school fit on the smaller temporary campus that housed the much smaller Glenn Speck school? Aren't there hundreds more Georgia Brown students? Will they be forced to reduce enrollment to the most highly sought after elementary program? So many questions about this.

Two moves for both schools is very silly. Let’s take a common sense approach to this.

Georgia Brown's program will be jeopardized by the two move solution. The solution that makes the most sense is to move to the new Campus as soon as it is ready!

I am concerned that the most successful program in your district will fall apart and children will leave the district, if they are crammed into portables designed for 300 with no where to eat or to exercise

GB students and staff, have no business being squished into the temporary facility next to Flamson. GB has almost twice the student population. Spring st traffic nightmare! Then to have to move again in a few years, does not make sense. Let's just do it once and do it right.

It is moving either way. They don't have the funds to rebuild GB big enough to accommodate our numbers at 36th street. This is a petition to ask the board to move GB directly to 17th Street, rather than making us move to the temporary campus first, then years later move to 17th Street.
