This signature represents my voice and vote to reconsider the move for Georgia Brown Elementary.

As a former student from Georgia Brown the loss of the school site will be devastating. Because of that, the student shouldn't have to be up rooted twice after they lost such a great site.

I was reluctant to sign this petition because I understand that Glen Speck has been at the temporary campus for so long and wanted them to be off the temporary campus. But when I realized that 659 Flamson students and an additional 655 students from Georgia Brown would all need to be dropped off and picked up at the same location would mean a nightmare for all students and parents. I see the drop off and pick up with only 389 Glen Speck extra students and it is horrible. When almost doubling the amount of cars and students to the already crowded parking lot and adjacent drop off locations, it will undoubtedly be unsafe for the littlest students. I ask that the board seriously reconsiders their decision to move both campuses 2 times. It not only will cost more money to move 2 campuses twice, but I feel like it will put unsafe logistics of an already precarious situation.

There is no way GB will fit at the 24th street campus. Why waste funds to move 2 sites twice, use the funds to help students come back from being behind due to Covid! Move GB directly to 17th Street!

Move GB directly to 17th Street and save funds for future Bearcats!

I am not in favor of my children having relocate 2 times. Our kids have already been through enough and relocating them two times would be very hard on them. My kids are already upset they are being moved from the only campus they know and the school they live next too. Making them move twice would not only be disruptive but very confusing and a hard adjustment on them. I ask that you please think of our kids and do not make them go through anymore then necessary. The loss of their school is already hard on them and having to switch schools more then ince will be detrimental. Please don't do this to our kids.
