The Dallas High School Marching Band has a long and respected tradition. Currently, the program has experienced a great reduction in student participation.
While other local High Schools celebrate the tradition of Marching Band, and their student Band members acquire a lifetime of musical experiences that translate into university degrees and careers, the Dallas High School Marching Band struggles to keep their program alive.
With your support, we have an opportunity to present this issue to the Dallas High School Administration and the Dallas School District Board.
As a Dallas School District resident, your signature pledges your support for the Dallas High School Band and will help to restore the tradition that is the Dallas High School Marching Band.

SAVE THE BAND!! I remember marching in those uniforms back in the day, some of my best high school memories. Keep the music alive in Dallas!
Need to fix this asap. Its a shame the program is shrinking.
Ridiculous that they let it get this bad. Support our kids and the music program.
Too much focus on sports here and not enough on the arts program. The band needs funding now.
Bring back the glory days. Dallas High has always had a great reputation for music why stop now?

My son loved being in the band. It taught him so much discipline. Really sad to see it fading away like this.
