I spent the entire morning staring at the city council application portal and honestly the way they hide the public comment section is baffling but I am not going to give up yet. My neighbor told me this morning that she is working two jobs just to afford rent in this town and that is exactly why this whole thing feels so urgent even when progress seems like it is moving at the speed of a snail.

I was looking at the numbers earlier and just had to pace around my kitchen for a while because this is actually gaining real speed now. It feels like people are finally waking up to the fact that living here shouldn't be a luxury and honestly that keeps me going when I feel discouraged by how long this has taken.

$15 is the CORRECT minimum wage because it costs $30 per hour to actually live in Mtn View.
MOUNTAIN VIEW IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WORK IN THE CITY. DO THE RIGHT THING AND VOTE YES!
its impossible to live anywhere near here on what people make now. rent is way to high for the current wages.
The cost of living is very high in the Midpeninsula. People can barely afford to pay rent on anything less than $12.
The minimum wage should be raised often in keeping up with the cost of rent, food, and transportation that continue to rise.
minimum wage needs to reflect the cost of living!
