- It is time for the 'status quo' Republican legislature in this State to step up to the plate and raise the Minimum Wage to a "Living Wage" of $15 an hour. The current rate of $7.25 an hour is pathetically insufficient - a starvation wage, at best - and has been stagnant for far too long!

- It is time for the people of Utah to stand up and demand more from their politicians. Status quo politics cannot, and should not be tolerated. Demand more!

- It is time for Utah Liberals and Progressives to stand together and let our combined voices be heard. This is our State, too! Raise the Minimum Wage!

7.25 is impossible to live on in slc now. rent is way to high and gas keeps going up. time for these people in office to wake up and see how regular folks are struggling.
