This type of crosswalk would be beneficial for several different reasons. The first reason is that it would eliminate the need for a button on both sides of the street. It also would help everyone cross the street without stopping and waiting for the button due to the motion sensors. It would help people with physical disabilities who have a hard time pressing the buttons. Please support this endeavor!

My mom has trouble reaching the buttons when she is in her chair. this would be so much better for her and everyone else.

Having a son whose in a wheelchair I think this is an excellent idea.
