Not opposed to the Mosque but rather the location suggested.

Being that this development will be in a residential neighbourhood parking need to be considered and not over looked. If the over flow of cars will be parking or finding parking on the adjacent streets it will raise safety concerns for me. The lot seems way to small for the number of participants expected to be using the proposed building at a given time.

Good evening.
I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed zoning by-law amendment for 27 Winona Drive due to the following concerns:
Traffic Congestion: Main Street already faces significant congestion, especially during peak hours. A development designed for large gatherings would further overwhelm our strained road network.
Noise and Public Disturbance: Events at the site would likely increase noise levels, disrupting long-time residents.
Road Safety and Accessibility: Large crowds could lead to road closures, affecting public safety, disrupting traffic, and delaying emergency response.
I urge the planning department to reassess this application and encourage developers to consider alternative locations with better infrastructure to manage the impact.
Thank you for your attention to these critical community concerns.

why would you need two mosques in the same locality couple of blocks away? isn't there a mosque coming up on Sandiford dr, right opp to municipal offices? doesn't this look like pre planned strategy?

This a very busy intersection. This will pose huge burden on town infrastructure. During Friday’s the entire area will result in a gridlock. The Main Street Stouffville should be focused for business development purposes.

95% lot coverage with only 53 parking spots proposed is a safety concern

There isn't enough parking for the celebrations that they have. Rupert and Fairview will be a mess.

It will bring way too much traffic/ congestion to an already congested area that offers little to no parking. 53 parking spaces is not sufficient for a place of worship, which in turn will make people park on surrounding roads or take all the parking at the restaurants within close proximity.
Big fat no from me. There is other areas in stouffville to build yet another place of worship.

When there is a Mosque already planned at Sandiford Dr, is there a need really to setup another one just 2 blocks away and especially at this busy location. I wonder how town allowed this proposal to even reach until this point, they should have simply asked to pick an alternative location. I seriously doubt town will hear and consider our voices.
