The most intellectual professor I've ever had. Motivates students to pursue their dreams and to not only focus on the here and now but what is to be. Has contributed immensely to the retention and graduation of students who are within the IB program and without. Nonetheless, if you want our education system in Delray Beach FL to be as corrupt as our health system by all means get rid of him, but don't say I didn't warn. you. -UF Graduating Senior 2016

This man is honestly one of the best, not only teacher, but also, human out there. He's truly passionate about what he teaches and he genuinely cares about his students. His classroom was my favorite place to be. Whether it was for instructional time, or for advice. This is a man that truly makes students feel comfortable in the classroom. I, personally, found his philosophy class to be my absolute favorite class in all of my years of school so far. Even kids who didn't share the same love for the subject matter as I did, still agreed that they were able to enjoy learning the material in his classroom. You see, when you have a teacher that truly CARES about his students and about what he's educating the students on, you have a classroom where students are more inclined to absorb the information in the classroom, instead of just awaiting for the class to end. He makes students care. He gets the students engaged, and encourages students to ALL contribute and identify their own personal views. He lets students determine their own views, and doesn't force his own onto them. He's always there whenever a student has any questions. He is an amazing educator. He is an amazing person. It should be HIS decision when to stop teaching. I'm sorry, but this isn't a man with a career that the county should control. He knows what he's doing. Students love him, and he loves what he does. I would love as many students as possible to experience him as a teacher. He is an incredible man and educator, and I would recommend any student with the chance to learn from him, to do so.

Ian Leon: I meant to say 'should leave'. My zone is also incorrect, as I am from Delray.

Philosophy is one of the classes Ive looked foward to since I came to highschool. Throughout that time Ive had the chance to meet and hear Mr. Morone, this has made the class much more comfortable and appealing. I apologize but I fail to see why a man such as himself such leave.

Dr. Marone Sr. Was one of the best instructors and one of the best life mentors I had in high school. He brings warmth, kindness, and care for his students and I would not have gotten into college and beyond without him. Please do not take him away from Atlantic, he is a gifted teacher who makes students better people.

Mr.Morone had the greatest impact on myself and I know on many others. We always had intellectual conversations about anything from politics to international events and tied it to philosophy, making us think critically. Don't take that away from the future generations.

Morone was my favorite teacher ever, I learned so much from him not only about Philosophy but life in general. We need more teachers like him so why force him to retire?

One of the greatest people I ever met. Thinks about students before he even thinks about himself.

I would not be getting my Masters at Stanford if it were not for Mr. Morone. He teaches students to think critically and apply their knowledge in a nuanced way- To date, I continue to cite the knowledge he gave me in my courses.

Why would you remove a teacher that wants to keep spreading knowledge and an engaging fun learning environment to his students? He and his son are both great teachers, and age should not matter in terms of education. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
