No one should be forced to retire especially not teachers!

Mr. Morons Sr. definitely know what he's teaching and it'll be a shame if the county makes this decision, there will be less teachers and more students in a classroom which isn't a healthy environment for learning.

He knows what he teaches and knows how to get his students to pass IB. He would be ridiculously hard to replace, so why bother? He wants to stay? Let him!

Mr. Morone was one of those incredible teachers you never forget. He is so passionate about teaching his students and was a huge part of making Atlantic the incredible experience that it was. He has a true gift for teaching and it would be a disservice and shame for future students to force him to retire. I would be very disappointed if Atlantic failed to support one of the finest teachers I have encountered to date.

Very professional and passionate Teacher, honored to had the privilege of being his student. It's a great disservice to future students to strip them of the opportunity of being challenged, encouraged and mentored by Mr Morone Sr! He should be allowed to stay, and retire on his own timing.

Forcing Mo Senior to retire would do a great disservice to all those who could have benefited from his passion and skill for teaching. Exceptional teachers are so few and far between, we shouldn't turn our backs on the small number we do have.

He helped me navigate through one of the most important and shaping times in my life! I can seriously say that I do not know where I would be if I hadn't been in his classes.

This man was an incredible teacher and has a passion for teaching, and to treat him in this manner is disrespectful. Students deserve great teachers and great teachers deserve to teach. For once try and think about something other than money but what's best for your students and your teachers!

I had the great fortune of taking 3 separate classes with Mr. Morone. He remains one of the best and most influential teachers I've ever had. Even years after leaving Atlantic I still hear of how important he is for the kids there. It's crazy to think of him being forced to retire from a job that he both loves and is so good at.

With respect to my other instructors, Mr. Morone's English class was the single best experience of my high school education. His ability to connect with and inspire students--not just about language but about life itself--was unparalleled in my time at Atlantic. If this man wants to keep teaching the school system is lucky to have him.

Good humanities teachers are very hard to come by. Mr. Morone Sr. cares greatly about the students he teaches, and injects gravitas into every lesson. As long as there are students ready to learn, Mr. Morone Sr. ought to teach.

It would be a great loss to any school to pass up the opportunity to have a teacher that is actually there because he loves his profession & not just the pay check.

If someone wants to continue doing what they love, we should let them. He's amazing at what does, and that is teach and inspire others.
