We, the undersigned, believe that every student in Los Angeles Unified School District should have the right to attend an exceptional school of their choice. To that end, we ask the LAUSD to:
Support parents' rights to choose the school that best meets their child's needs.
Commit to expanding high-quality school options for families - whether charters, magnets and or pilot schools.

I was just looking at the total and realized we are staring down the barrel of that first hundred which feels like a real milestone even if it is just a starter number in the grand scheme of things. Get the word out into your own networks right now since I really want us to hit that mark before the end of the day if we can manage it.

Public education needs to change. The monopoly is killing our kids future.
LAUSD is a mess. tired of having no say in where my daughter goes for 2nd grade. charter schools are the only way out for us.
My kids deserve way better than the failing school down the street. We need options now.
Keep the competition going! It pushes the district to actually do better instead of just sitting on their hands. Synergy Charter.
Families shouldnt be stuck in a bad zone just because of their zip code. Let us choose!
