There are few recycling bins on UCSB’s campus that are not directly in the main walkway. Putting recycling bins next to each trashcan on campus will encourage students to become more aware of their environmental footprint.

it is seriously annoying trying to find a blue bin after finishing a soda. my dorm hallway is full of trash because the recycling is all the way across the quad.

YES. how is it 2018 and we still have to carry our empty bottles halfway across campus? just put one next to every trash can already.
