I have finalized a formal proposal detailing the design requirements for improved waste signage and have submitted it to the Facilities Management office. My next step is to secure an introductory meeting with the sustainability director to review these specific layout changes.

Need this bad. campus is a mess.
SO MUCH TRASH EVERYWHERE. PLEASE FIX THE BINS.
People try to recycle but the labels are so confusing. Just put some pictures on the bins so people stop guessing.
it makes literally no sense to have nice bins if nobody knows which is which. seen so many plastic bottles in the landfill bin just this week.
I really hope they listen. We talk about being sustainable but our trash situation is just embarrassing for a big university.

Finally. The amount of stuff that gets thrown in the regular trash because nobody knows where it goes is ridiculous. Do better FIU.
