With the next academic year fast approaching and currently with less than 15 suites and more green lit films expected for next year the the need for more AVID Edit Suites or more computers with AVID installed is paramount. Sign the petition so us Film Production Course Reps can bring this to our next Board of Studies meeting and help make the change we need!

I was just in the editing lab and saw someone waiting forty minutes for a suite to open up which is exactly why this whole situation is so frustrating. I am currently putting together a list of the specific bottlenecks we all experience to show the department exactly how much time is being wasted every single day.

There's too many students for the the avid suites to be shared around. 120 students (2nd +3rd years) share only a dozen of the avid suites.
With an increase in student uptake we haven't seen the increase needed in suites to provide for this high number.
Just have the software on more computers!
Leaving but the next sets of students shouldn't face the same issues we did

Totally agree that we need more suites, especially for future year groups as the number of students are increasing exponentially.
