The gunman who shot his way into Sandy Hook School, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, was carrying an arsenal of hundreds of rounds of especially deadly ammunition — enough to kill just about every student in the school if given enough time, raising the chilling possibility that the bloodbath could have been even worse.
This country has a long tradition of possessing firearms. We are not asking anyone to give up their hunting rifle or shotgun or pistol for protection. We are asking for a ban on all combat style assault weapons and the ammunition clips that held enough bullets to kill 20 children and 6 adults in less than 10 minutes. If it can happen at Sandy Hook—it can happen in your child’s school too.

Enough is enough. My kids should be safe when they walk into their classroom. Please do something.
The lobbyist are just lining their pockets while our schools turn into war zones. sick.
Ban them. Its that simple. Keep these high capacity clips off the streets.
i cant even think about what those poor parents are going through. ban these things now.
