Mountain House, CA, is a developing community of about 15,000 on the edge of the San Francisco East Bay Area. Currently, our community has no retail and just a few small locally owned businesses. Recently, the Wolf scouts in Den 3 of MH Cub Scouts Pack 511 were tasked with identifying a need in the community and coming up with a way to solve it. This smart group of 7- and 8-year-olds chose their town's lack of entertainment and retail as the No. 1 problem to tackle. Of course, kids of all ages love games and food, so they quickly agreed on trying to bring Dave & Buster's to Mountain House. (The closest D&Bs are in Milpitas and Sacramento, both a decent 45-minute to hour's drive away.) Working together, they voted on using technology, social media and online petitioning to bring light to Mountain House's needs and put the town on D&B's radar.
