Please sign this petition in order to express an interest in the University of Bristol bringing back mindfulness mental health support. At a time when depression and anxiety are rife across Bristol University, this service will be incredibly important in assisting those clinically diagnosed with mental health, as well as anyone who requires this support, in coping with life's stressors.
The stories shared by students regarding their experiences with university mental health resources have been profoundly moving. I am currently organizing these testimonies to present them formally to the administration during our upcoming meetings.
October 24, 2018
The response to this initiative has been substantial and reflects a shared conviction regarding student wellbeing. This momentum confirms that restoring mindfulness support is an urgent priority for our community.

The uni really needs to step up here. Mindfulness helped me so much last year and taking it away just feels like they dont care about our health at all.

Rediculous to remove or cut services when the nhs cannot provide them and universities house people at a very vulnerable time in their lives.

This service was incredibly supportive for my friend when nothing else was working- the removal of these services was a huge shock and pretty devastating for her, and has made it significantly harder for her to cope at uni. I actually have several friends who were using this service and I would like it to be available should I need it in the future.
