As a resident of Miami County, Kansas I have read the proposal for Mid America Shooting Center Conditional Use Permit. By signing this document I am asking the Miami County Commissioners to deny the permit. I believe that this type of shooting range does not compliment the area located near 377th and Lone Elm Road, Paola, Kansas or any other location in Miami County. The potential for bodily harm, severe noise issues as well as showing no value to Miami County is just a few of the many issues regarding this permit.
The Miami County Commissioners think we will just roll over and let them force this dangerous shooting range into our neighborhood. They are wrong because we are not going anywhere and we will keep putting the pressure on until they reject this permit.

This is a terrible spot for a range. Way too close to neighborhoods and dangerous for local traffic. Commissioners need to stop this now before something bad happens.

The noise is already bad enough out here. We dont need constant gunfire echoing all day long in what is suppossed to be a quiet rural area. Keep it away from our homes.
