Graduate students are growing number and with the upcoming planned transition to University status, the importance graduate students have in the campus culture will grow with it.
By signing this petition, you will be showing your support for the formulation of this group and the representation it will provide.
The Issue: Currently, Graduate students are unable to participate in any activitiy or organization that is led by MSG. Graduate Students have been told the reason for their inability to participate is that they do not pay the activities fee. When asked about paying said fee, they are told that they are not allowed.
The Proposal: Create a graduate student led organization similar to Mercyhurst Student Governent which would provide the same rights and representation that the current undergraduate population receives. This would include the ability to participate in organizations and hold leadership roles within those organizations.

Its pretty unfair that we pay tuition just like everyone else but get locked out of everything. We are part of the school too and deserve a say in what goes on.
