Monona Grove parents ask the administration to share plans for winter sports opportunities for our kids by 12/16/2020. Many schools in our conference and in Dane County have already developed and shared plans for practice and competition that will be activated as soon as the PHMDC order is lifted. To this date, no such plan has been communicated to the parents of Monona Grove. While we recognize the challenges and risks due to the current pandemic, we request that the Monona Grove administration have plans in place and share them so that our students have the opportunity to participate in winter sports as soon as circumstances allow.

Let the athletes play. I participated in a Faith Formation Zoom meeting tonight and the Spiritual Advisors informed us that students have told them they are hurting. MG needs to step up and take care of the students.
With the latest COVID-19 information coming from the CDC and our state government on student athletes, I believe it is the MG's administration responsibility to develop a plan for the reintroduction of athletics, share it with the parents for input and then implement. Thank you!
We would like to see transparent and ongoing communication from the school board and district in regards to in-person school and participation in extra-curricular programs. It is frustrating to see other districts in Dane County make, share, and safely execute plans, while MG remains silently idle.
Other districts have plans in place as should MG. MG should be leaders and set examples for our children that if you work hard enough anything can be achieved.
I really appreciate the district's caution in this pandemic and safety of the kids should be paramount. A plan for when we can would be great - hope is important for our well being
As far as I know all counties surrounding Dane Co if not all counties in wi the schools are participating in sports. As long as athletes,coach’s and others don’t get the virus and the proper precautions and steps are taken to ensure the safety of everyone let the kids play sports.

80% of Wisconsin Schools are competing, 13 Districts in Dane County have already begun in school/hybrid from PreK-2. The majority of districts in Dane County have safety protocols to return to school, as well as plans for athletic return. We would like these plans shared with our community.
