As far as I know all counties surrounding Dane Co if not all counties in wi the schools are participating in sports. As long as athletes,coach’s and others don’t get the virus and the proper precautions and steps are taken to ensure the safety of everyone let the kids play sports.

With the latest COVID-19 information coming from the CDC and our state government on student athletes, I believe it is the MG's administration responsibility to develop a plan for the reintroduction of athletics, share it with the parents for input and then implement. Thank you!

I believe all (K-12) MG students can return to school and sports, it just takes effort and a plan. Please take the time to research and come up with a way to get these kids back to school. Look at other school districts to see what they have done. You are doing more harm than good by keeping them isolated at home.

I am embarrassed at how MG is dealing with everything. Hate to say but I am not surprised. Started with Graduation and their lack of communication. It has been proven that kids are at the lowest risk with Covid. I 100% believe IF the effort is put forward, it can be safe for the students and all involved. I am scared to death when we start to find out how bad this is damaging these kids mentally!! We cannot reverse that! PUT THE EFFORT TOWARDS THIS, NO EXCUSES!!!!

Hi my name is Jacob and I am a 7th grader this year. I am very disappointed in Monona Grove this year. What effort are you giving to play sports and be back in school because it looks like none to me. Many other schools are in-person and playing sports. Even other Dane schools seem to be trying a lot harder than MG. They shared with their community what they were working on because they have supported them through all of these years. MG seems to only act once others have complained. I can tell you that I do not support MG at all. My parents have asked we want to move and we do not for a lot of reasons. But I am not sure anymore. Could we actually think about the kids because this pandemic is affecting kids more than adults and you are not thinking about the kids. You are hurting kids mental health. Please show you care because other schools have and I am not sure you do.
