I agree that more discussion is needed. It would be great to have a larger tax base if this were to be annexed into the city limits, but what's wrong with our current density restrictions? Why do they need to pile in more and more people into a small area? It just causes traffic congestion and increased risk of pedestrian involved accidents. No longer could MB boast that it has no traffic lights, because we'd definitely need some way to mitigate traffic flow. Add also St Joe Companies apparent willingness to go back on their word at the least legal loophole, and it would seem business with them would not be in our best interest. MB is a laid back little town without the financial means to fight a large corporation like St Joe Company in a legal battle should it come to that. I think MUCH more discussion is needed, and we should focus more on the recovery of our current town before we expend money and energy on expanding.

Home owner, some development and new affordable housing is good, but be sure we need and can handle all they are wanting, mc needs some good attorneys looking at the legal side of this

Too dense and too many holes In the proposal. I realized MB will never be as is was, but the charm of low density town is what we and our vacationers love most.
