Left Destin because of the constant increase in tourism to the point you are miserable. Building in Mexico Beach because of the small town feel and wonderful people.
Do not make this mistake.

We need to know more information. Why do they want to increase the density & what is the benefit for the Citizens of Mexico Beach & the value for our Mayberry community? In addition, due to the possibility of our current Police Force changes, as well as any unknown end-results, (response-times, accountability, observation/patrolling & protecting our community, etc.); could this possibly increase the city's crime rate?

I am year round resident and single family homeowner in Mexico Beach. 2004 Highway 98. I am firmly against rushing to any agreements without fully vetting and weighing options with the entire community. Recommend denying the current request.
