Students need to be safe walking along any street. Too many distracted drivers on the roads.

This stretch of road has many bikers, walkers and runners year 'round, and has little to no shoulder so is dangerous for the walkers and bikers as well as the cars that need to go into the opposite traffic lane to pass them at a safe distance. A sidewalk and bike lane would be a great benefit, would open up the possibility of walking and biking into town, and would be safer for all.

This would be a great asset to the Kinne/Laro St. neighborhood!

There is so much pedestrian and bike traffic along this stretch of road. I hope the city council will consider this request and take action to keep our citizens safe. I’ve thought this stretch of road has needed a sidewalk for years. And, I, like others, would love to be able to safely bike or walk to downtown.

I am mobility challenged & use a scooter but have to travel to use it because of the steep hills surounding me. I would get out more & go to the green more if there was a sidewalk to use.

Walking and biking on Meriden Road are hazardous, and becoming more so as vehicular traffic increases. If not a sidewalk, then improved shoulders and bike lanes are a necessity.

We have lived on Grandview for 20 years and have always felt 120 needed a sidewalk. We never let Sydney ride bikes, run, or walk on it growing up.

I have lived on this street my entire life - and this stretch of road NEEDS a sidewalk leading into town.

As a homeowner along this stretch of road, I welcome this! I see people walking this stretch every day and would love the safety of a sidewalk.

Roads feel very unsafe, particularly for children, runners, walkers and bikers. This would be so helpful!

I run along here regularly - 2 or 3 times a week. A sidewalk would make it MUCH safer - even on just one side of the street. Even wider shoulders on one side or a bike lane for runners and bikers to share would really help. the most critical part is from the existing sidewalk past the entrance to Golden Park where the shoulder is non-existent.

Heavily traveled road, between auto, foot and bike with increased speed over the years. A sidewalk would benefit drivers and others using the road!
