LET THE PLAQUE STAY. This is just cruel to the family.
The council is being heartless. It is such a small thing to ask and it would mean everything to his family.
Bring it back. They deserve to have a place to remember him.
Absolute disgrace. Why cant the council just show a little bit of humanity for once?
Such a shame for the family to have to deal with this on top of their loss. Shame on the council.
Donal and his family deserve a plaque.

I am saddened by the behaviour of Cairns Regional Council regarding the family's wishes to have a memorial to Donal Bolton placed in City Place. But we will continue to lobby for this until it has been achieved.
