I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum building around this memorial. It is humbling to see so many people care about honoring Daniel and I credit each of you for keeping his memory alive.

Why target a memorial?? Nothing better to do i guess. Keep it there.
What is the harm in a small cross by the side of the road? Seriously. So sad for his family having to deal with this.
This is just heartless. Leave the cross where it is so his family can have somewhere to remember him. Shame on the council.
Absolutely disgusting behavior toward his family. Just leave it alone please.
Daniel RIP. Hope they see sense and stop this.

Ridiculous decision. It is not hurting anyone at all. Let it be.
