An annual fee of $175 is too much!

Maybe our union or employers could pay for the fee.

It has become unaffordable early childhood educators. Don't make enough money. We've already paid our dues. Going to college paid our tuitions. I do understand the criminal reference. Check the CPR. Continuing professional learning workshops to increase our knowledge on child care but not annual fees to which it allows us to work. We paid for that already

The CECE needs to take a look at the rates of pay of hardworking RECE’s on the frontlines, compared to what they are paying themselves.

As a RECE of 10+ years and a new daycare owner, seeing the fee hike is just further driving RECEs from the field. There is already an incredible shortage! And ECEs have been advocating for decades for a better College that actually uses our membership fee in a way that supports ECEs in the sector.

Please seriously reconsider your decision to raise fees when ECE'S are woefully underpaid.

This increase is very poorly timed with centers struggling with CWELCC funding formulas and RECE workers at their lowest in moral regarding their chosen profession. It makes you wonder if the College is really in touch with the people it is supposed to represent. Shame!

Single mom of multiple children I can barely afford to put food on my table, while $25 doesn’t seem like a lot to some it takes away 1 meal even 2 from my children. Please reconsider this increase.

Drop the CPL as well since we all do professional development through work, workshops online and are resource centres.

ECE's are the least paid ans we can't afford the membership fee increase
The College should find an affordable workplace and cut their salaries!
Enough ia enough!

If CECE would like to increase their fees no problem, but at least allow for RECEs to have benefits or something similar to the teachers, trades and other union members who pay their premiums. Because of actions like these, create people to leave the field, resulting in a loss of good and qualified RECEs.

This is outrageous for the support and pay that we receive in the field.
