Membership fee for the College of ECE

The office is closed most days and staff work remotely.

I don’t see how the College I pay dues to does anything for me at all. I have asked for their help with issues and it has gone on deaf ears. I would really like to know how they are helping us in the ECE profession. I am very frustrated and know something has to change and questions need to be answered.

Please stop increasing the membership fee and give us relevant workshops to stay updated. We are in the field for long time working at same place in same position. Please don't give us more stress and asignments like CPL, we already have lots of paperwork and financial challenges.

I am against the increase!! I feel the requirements and work load alone fulfilling annual requirements to be an active member in order to work in the field was over the top and very time consuming and now this monetary increase in our registration fee…absolutely REDICULOUS!!! SHAME ON YOU CECE!!!

I agree that the College Of ECEs needs to justify the increase in cost. Find alternative cost saving strategies.

The latest increase of $175 seems unnecessary and unreasonable even in this day of higher that normal inflation and anticipated increases.

ECE in training half way done my course. not looking forward to that.

Reconsider the proposed fee increase Arrange workshop instead of cpl

During this difficult time our members are asking for a decrease in our membership fees. We would also like to see the CPL replaced by workshops and seminars from the College of ECE.

This is a lot when you need to have two jobs to put food on your table.

I make only 20/per hour as a causal, and have to pay these high fees!!!!!

With the shortage of RECES...why would they raise the fee? Not a RECE but in support of them.

RECE’s don’t make enough to begin with and now we have to deal with a raise in our yearly fees to stay Registered just to work in the field? That’s complete insanity! We don’t even get the cards anymore. The College of ECE’s has gone way down hill but want to increase fees. For what? No wonder why so many RECE’s have left the field & there’s a lack of staff in many daycares and schools. The job isn’t worth the pay especially spending an extra amount yearly!!! Time to end this madness. Lower the fees!

ECEs are severely underpaid as it is. An increase of fee is just going to worsen the situation. Please consider us!

We deserve a pay raise, an affordable fee and CECE to properly manage funds

What exactly do you do for me? I am paying to use the diploma that I paid for and earned. So what exactly is your purpose?

We need more resonable yearly fees to be registered not higher.

Not even sure what the college even does for us in this field, other that give us a title. No protection, no benefits, what are we paying for?
