Unbelievable, this fee is terrible in the first place, but now raising the price? What does the college do anyway? Nothing. Do they fight for better wages? No. Our wages suck. Now they want more of the little hard earned money that we make.

RECEs are expected to pay high fees and complete CPL requirements when our wages are low and we are overworked throughout our industry. The CECE has paid out millions of dollars in raising wages, rent and other materials/furnishings when they could choose a much more cost effective location. The RECEs in the classrooms are barely surviving and the CECE staff are making higher wages than those their members

Our wages have not gone up 9.4%. We are lucky if we get a 2% increase. Not sure how the college can justify this.

It's time we stand together. If The College feels the need to increase our annual fee, they need to advocate for us to have an increase in salaries, paid workshops, adequate vacation and health care packages.

Our wages do not reflect an increase in this membership. Our positions are not even recognized within the school board. The amount of responsibilities that we have along with CPL is ridiculous. I really don’t see any benefit with the membership as it is. People are struggling. Don’t see the need for the increase we pay enough.
