We need to stop the over-reaching powers of the CECE.. We need more support as RECESs in the way of wage increases, funded professional development opportunities, unionized protections like other professional fields..

Most daycares don’t even pay a decent living wage. Sadly, most ECE’s need to live in a two income home because they would never be able to pay rent on their own. We need better. We are so important.

The CECE spent 7.6 million on their salaries last year. How many people work there? They also spent more than $750,000 on rent. They need to move out of the downtown core. Maybe, they need to pay themselves $40,000 a year and see how they feel about spending $175 for nothing.

I do not agree with an increase. If you have more member that means you are making more money not less. We are also pay more for fees than other professions that make way more money. Also, I was not impressed in the email is said Dear member name. This does not leave a professional experience.

What do we get for our money. In all the years any courses I’ve taken have come out of my pocket. What training or resources does the college provide. This is an unnecessary increase for those of us just now making over $40k
