We don’t get paid enough to have to pay out this much. What we are currently paying is already too much. In the North we get nothing to even support having to pay this much. We are forgotten about.

We are having a hard time in the region finding and keeping qualified and to increase our fees is just another nail in the coffin. Child care needs to be funded by the government like teachers wages!

There are so many ECEs who do not make a living wage. Expecting them to pay $175 annually is absolutely outrageous considering all the other costs that come with being an Educator.
The Ontario College of Teachers fee is $200 and the ECE wage is NOWHERE close to what a Teacher makes. This demonstrates how out of touch the College is with it's Educators.

Nous n’avons pas un salaire d’un professeur. Nous avons de la difficulté à arriver à chaque fin de mois. Ce montant pourrait payer mon gaz pour aller faire ma profession pour payer mon loyer tous les mois.

I was already an ECE when the CECE was trying to get started. Back then, we were told that with a professional body, we would get more respect and it would lead to higher wages.
For $175, we have been given the added burden of maintaining a CPL and still need to be up to date our first aid training.

This is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting to do this to low wage earners, that work so hard. Look at their expenses! Someone needs to look into this and justify where are money goes because no one on earth needs to spending that much money on furniture???!!! Most of them work from home! I’ve been down to that palace and saw first hand where my money is going. This is shameful. The fact that their annual report is even released for general knowledge is disgraceful. Do better!
