In tegenstelling tot het mannenvoetbal, moet het damesvoetbal het vooralsnog doen met zeer weinig media-aandacht. (Op enkele landen na waar het toch al wat verder staat zoals Zweden en de VS) Deze petitie is ingericht om ervoor te zorgen dat het damesvoetbal eindelijk de aandacht krijgt die het verdiend en als dusdanig zichzelf beter kan promoten.
