1) Traditional classroom lectures centered around phrases and vocabulary used in a health-care setting
2) Seminar style discussions about cross cultural health care
3) Hands-on work in a hospital during the last 6 weeks of the course to help put theory into practice
The Mills Spanish department is hoping to begin the development of this course as soon as possible but we need to be sure there would be interest from the pre-medical population. Thank you for your support!

Discussions with the Spanish department are progressing as we define the curriculum for this proposed medical course. I have heard from many of you regarding the importance of clinical observation and look forward to incorporating that feedback into our planning.

Finally. About time we get something practical.
i wish this was around when i was taking my pre-reqs. vital skill for any dr in california
This would be so helpful for my future career. Please make this happen!
YES PLEASE. communicating with patients is the most important part of the job and regular spanish classes just dont cover the medical terms we actually need
