USF has a severe shortage of personal injury specific courses for students to take. Luckily, an attorney from the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association ("SFTLA"), Albert Stoll, is interested in teaching a personal injury bootcamp next semester to help students interested in pursuing personal injury figure out how to be successful!

Mr. Stoll has over 20 years in practice as a personal injury attorney. He teaches a CLE event for lawyers that introduces them to the logistics of personal injury cases. Mr. Stoll is interested in teaching his CLE event as a class at USF in order to help interested students in figuring out exactly how they can run a successful personal injury firm. In his course, Mr. Stoll plans to walk students through every practical aspect of personal injury cases, from vetting clients to dealing with liens.

In order to have this class, the dean has required a petition to determine student interest. This class would likely be a 1 unit course, held either once a week for an hour, or one a week for two hours (for 7-8 weeks opposed to 15 weeks).

If you are interested, please sign the petition to make this class happen.

I attended the Bar Association's Personal Injury Bootcamp moderated by Mr. Stoll and it was a great learning experience. I am a huge advocate of this idea.
