We, the patients, want to urge the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) to establish change in medical education by making exercise curriculum a national standard for all LCME accredited medical schools by 2020. Exercise has been shown to delay the onset of chronic illnesses, improve quality of life, protect against injury, abbreviate recovery time, improve mood, and increase longevity. We look to our physicians for guidance in realizing these benefits.
