The American College of Sports Medicine manages the global health initiative called Exercise is Medicine (EIM). This initiative is committed to encouraging primary health care providers to incorporate physical activity when designing treatment plans. They would then refer their patients to EIM Credentialed Exercise Programs.

This initiative was created when exercise science professionals recognized that physical activity can be an important factor in preventing and treating diseases. Please sign this petition if you are dedicated to furthering this global health initiative and want to bring about a change and spreading this knowledge throughout your own community.
