I have spent this week drafting a formal letter to Kent County Council members to outline the impact of these budget cuts on our community services. I am currently organizing the evidence provided by local families to include in our presentation for the upcoming review board meeting.

The reach of this petition has hit a point where the local council can no longer ignore the impact on our community. I am finalizing the formal letter to the Kent County Council leadership to request a meeting regarding the budget for the Meadows Children's Centre.

SHAME ON YOU KENT COUNCIL!!! stop cutting things that actually help people.
My daughter learnt so much in those sessions. really sad to see it go.
the chef does amazing work. why cut the budget for something that actually makes a difference to our health and community morale
Those hot lunches were a lifesaver for so many local families. How are people supposed to manage now?

My kids love the cooking classes. Taking this away is such a bad move for parkwood honestly.
