The Mineola Public Schools recently completed a grade reconfiguration study. As a result, the Mineola BOE may recommend closing of one or more schools in the District. The residents of Albertson and the surrounding areas believe that closing a neighborhood elementary school will have an aversive impact on education and our community. This petition will be mailed to the President of the Board of Education by June 30, 2008. If you support our efforts to keep Meadow Drive School open, please add your signature below.

Lived here 20 years and this school is the heart of the community. Fix your budget somewhere else instead of hitting our kids education.

My kids walk to school every morning. Closing it would be a disaster for everyone on this street. Please dont do this to our neighborhood.
